The second branch is redox titration, based on electron transfer and monitored by the Nernst Equation. It includes permanganatometry (iron in ores), iodometry/iodimetry (vitamin C, dissolved oxygen, and residual chlorine), and dichromatometry (iron analysis with potassium dichromate). Mastery of these techniques enables precise analysis of complex matrices, essential in rigorous industrial quality control.
