TERMS OF USE – EDUGRADUS

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the EduGradus digital educational platform, as well as the conditions applicable to subscriptions, content, certificates, and other services made available.

By accessing or subscribing to the platform, the user declares that they have read, understood, and fully agreed to these Terms.

1. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

EduGradus is a digital educational platform that offers, through a recurring subscription model, access to free (non-regulated) courses, learning pathways, and digital educational content.

The courses provided are classified as free courses (cursos livres), not regulated by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), and are intended for complementary academic and professional development.

2. SUBSCRIPTION AND ACCESS

2.1. Access to the platform is provided through a monthly or annual subscription, according to the plan selected by the user.
2.2. The subscription grants the user the right to access the available content while the subscription remains active.
2.3. Access to content will be automatically suspended in the event of:

  • subscription cancellation;
  • non-payment;
  • violation of these Terms.

3. BILLING AND RECURRING PAYMENTS

3.1. The subscription is billed on a recurring and automatic basis, according to the periodicity selected at the time of purchase.
3.2. By completing the subscription, the user expressly authorizes recurring charges until cancellation is requested.
3.3. When applicable, charges may be processed in United States Dollars (USD). Currency conversion to local currency, as well as any banking or exchange fees, are the responsibility of the user’s financial institution.

4. COURSES AND CONTENT

4.1. The courses offered are free courses, with no automatic equivalence to technical, undergraduate, or graduate programs.
4.2. EduGradus may, at its discretion, update, replace, or remove content without generating any right to refund, provided that the nature of the contracted service is maintained.

5. CERTIFICATES

5.1. Upon completion of courses or modules, the user may receive participation or completion certificates for free courses, issued by the EduGradus platform.
5.2. The certificates:

  • do not constitute diplomas;
  • do not have automatic recognition by the MEC;
  • do not guarantee formal academic credit or recognition.

6. ACADEMIC CREDIT (ESSENTIAL CLAUSE)

6.1. The user may, at their sole initiative, request an evaluation of the studies completed on the platform for the purpose of academic credit at a higher education institution.
6.2. Academic credit:

  • is not automatic;
  • is not guaranteed;
  • depends exclusively on the analysis and decision of the chosen higher education institution, based on criteria such as syllabus, workload, learning objectives, and internal academic regulations.
    6.3. EduGradus does not guarantee that the courses or certificates issued will be accepted for academic credit purposes, and the final decision rests solely with the higher education institution.

7. PARTNER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

7.1. FASPEC – Faculdade Pelegrino Cipriani, as a higher education institution duly accredited in Brazil, may analyze requests for academic credit in accordance with its internal regulations.
7.2. The existence of an institutional partnership does not imply any guarantee of academic credit, diploma issuance, or automatic course equivalence.

8. CANCELLATION

8.1. The user may cancel the subscription at any time.
8.2. Cancellation:

  • prevents new charges;
  • maintains access until the end of the already paid subscription period;
  • does not entitle the user to a proportional refund, except where required by law.

9. USER OBLIGATIONS

The user agrees to:

  • provide true and up-to-date information;
  • use the platform lawfully;
  • not share access credentials with third parties;
  • respect copyright and intellectual property rights.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, trademarks, texts, videos, educational materials, and systems made available on the platform are protected by copyright and belong to EduGradus or its licensed partners.

Reproduction, distribution, or commercialization without express authorization is prohibited.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EduGradus shall not be liable for:

  • academic decisions made by higher education institutions;
  • denial or non-recognition of academic credit;
  • currency conversion fees or banking charges;
  • temporary unavailability due to maintenance or technical failures.

12. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS

EduGradus may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on the website.

Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The courts of the jurisdiction where EduGradus is headquartered are elected to resolve any disputes, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
