Organizational Dynamics, Diversity, and Ethics

In this course, students will understand organizational dynamics, analyzing the company as a complex system shaped by structure, technology, people, and the external environment. Organizational culture, which defines lasting values and behaviors, will be distinguished from organizational climate, which reflects the temporary psychological state of the workplace, highlighting the importance of strategic interventions to positively transform the organization. The module addresses change management and resistance, showing that opposition to transformation is a natural psychological reaction driven by fear of the unknown and attachment to habits and professional identity.

Students will learn effective leadership strategies, including transparent communication, engagement of those affected, appropriate training, and celebration of quick wins, creating positive momentum for sustainable organizational change. Finally, diversity, inclusion, and corporate ethics will be explored.

Diversity is presented as a source of innovation when combined with genuine inclusion, while corporate ethics is treated as the foundation for building trust, reputation, and competitive advantage. Students will study managing unconscious biases, stereotypes, and discrimination, bias-free recruiting processes, and governance systems that encourage ethical conduct and protect whistleblowers.
