In this course, students will understand the importance of systems thinking and process modeling for integrating information systems across the entire value chain of the company. Concepts of BPM and BPMN will be covered, including AS-IS and TO-BE analysis, and the implementation of ERP systems to consolidate finance, sales, logistics, and HR on a single platform, ensuring a reliable source of information and greater operational efficiency. The module explores the strategic alignment of IT with the organization's mission and objectives, detailing the decision levels: operational (Transaction Processing Systems), tactical (Management Information Systems), and strategic (Executive Support Systems).

The use of Business Intelligence and interactive dashboards enables fast and accurate decisions, while HR becomes a strategic partner through process automation, People Analytics, and skills management, promoting talent retention and increased productivity. Finally, applications in marketing, sales, and digital business are studied. Marketing Information Systems integrated with CRM make it possible to track the entire sales funnel and adjust campaigns based on real data.
