Individual, Interpersonal Relations, and Group Behavior

In this course, students will understand the impact of individual differences, personality, and perception in the organization. Factors such as biographical diversity, skills, the Big Five personality model, personal values, and cognitive biases that influence decision-making will be addressed, highlighting the importance of aligning individual goals with organizational objectives to maximize performance and engagement. The module also explores interpersonal relations and communication, emphasizing emotional intelligence, constructive feedback, active listening, and communication barriers that can hinder the flow of information.

Students will learn to develop skills for building trust networks, managing conflicts, and fostering clear and effective dialogue within teams. Finally, the module addresses group behavior, including the classification of formal and informal groups and team development under Tuckman's model (forming, storming, norming, and performing).

The focus is on integrating respect for the individual, mature interpersonal relations, and effective group dynamics to turn organizational challenges into opportunities for innovation and sustainable results.
