  • Heating: open flames must be replaced with heating mantles or hot plates.
  • Concentrated corrosive solutions: must be added slowly to water, always in a fume hood, with stirring and an ice bath, preventing accidents and glassware breakage.

Upon completing the course, the professional will be able to perform routine laboratory operations safely and accurately, in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
