Credit System and Academic Progression
Credit and Progression System on the Platform
To manage student progress clearly and flexibly, the system uses a structured credit hierarchy:
Unit: The smallest fraction, representing the monthly credit acquired through the subscription.
Curricular Unit (Discipline): A content block composed of 3 units.
Disciplinary Roadmap: The complete set of curricular units necessary to obtain certification.
The recommended model for credit accumulation is Limited Accumulation. In this model, monthly credits can be accumulated for up to 3 months (90 days) before expiring. This hybrid approach offers flexibility for students who may have a particularly busy month, without creating an indefinite academic obligation for the institution—balancing the needs of both parties.
“In our model, you have the freedom of a Netflix-style subscription to learn what you want, combined with the rigor of a university to ensure your certificate is internationally recognized.”
